Excitement of a Touch

Reflections of young innocence hidden in the mind,
Recollections, time well spent, memories left behind.
Connections form a labyrinth of feelings unrefined.
Learning from relationships, facing uphill climbs,
Discerning all the joys and slips, retracing steps in time.
Yearning for acceptance, embracing every sign.
Reaffirming countenance, moving forward blind.
Sensual sensations soon start to unwind,
Revealing hidden frailties, temptations long confined.
Reaching toward its virile force, finding peace of mind,
Feeling for its surreal source, that one and only kind.
Tingling from that sense you feel, pleasures intertwined.
Knowing that with confidence true treasures you will find.
Appealing expressed consciousness, temperatures soon climb.
Reeling from fluxed willingness, conjectures swoon sublime.
Realizing penned up passions, enticement's mental clutch,
Consensual inner spasms, the excitement of a touch.

Metamophosis

This poem was written for the accompanying art done by Photochick_1985 of the OP site...

Mystic temptress,

Future seer

Temporal fortress,

Basilisk lair.

Serpent eyes,

Golden hair.

Clawed webbed feet,

Burning stare.

Lips wine sweet,

Skin white fair.

Shrouds of red,

Trimmed in black,

Protruding tail,

Ridged winged back.

Transform your image,

Morph in size,

Reptilian visage,

Dragon sized.

Wield your magic.

Cast your spell.

Wreak your havoc,

Of fiery hell.

Tattooed identity.

Pestilent lies.

Eschewed vile remedy,

Hate disguised

Lie in waiting,

Spin your web,

Spawn of Satan.

Born of egg,

Sworn to pillage,

Country sides,

Ravage Villages

Sear torched lives.

Merlin's sorceress.

Born to fly,

Blood red corset,

Breach the skies.

Conjured spirit,

Return to size.

Change appearance,

Cauterize.

Pentagram boldly worn,

Talisman coldly borne,

Living life amidst hate and scorn.

Spiritual lives so blantantly torn.

What possesses your mortal soul?

What obsessions take moral tolls?

What torment twists your devilish mind?

What enjoyment and bliss do you wish to find?

Evil lurks amidst witchery and sin,

The Devil's disguised where lust begins.

Beauty belies the truth within,

A Satanic guise to morph again.

Mermaid

A fishtail breaks a restful sea,
My mind awakens suddenly.
Am I lucidly lost in a dream?
Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Once again, the surface breaks,
An enormous splash lets me know I'm awake.
Coming to rest on a distant rock,
A sanity test, a visionary shock.

A beautiful woman, nude to the waste,
The rest of her body out of place.
I'm reminded of stories that sea farer's told,
Of mystical maidens centuries old.

An erotic blend of female and fish,
With a face to launch a thousand ships.
Curves, bare back, warm, smooth skin,
Fiery eyes that burn within.

Supple nipples, breasts both bare,
Cursed or blessed, a vision fair.
Hair that flows in waves and curls,
With a body like no ordinary girls.

Graceful arms, toned, lean and long,
Well formed abs, sensually strong,
A vision of beauty, a goddess or queen,
A hoax or rumor, sought, never seen.

A legendary figure to many that sail,
A fictional creature, a fisherman's tale.
A sea maid or fairy to those that believe,
A siren foretold in Greek Mythology.

Thought to endanger ocean bound ships,
A mystical stranger to drunken lips.
A selkie or minotaur, a curiosity,
A prophesy in folk lore, a young man's fantasy.

Before I am able to affirm reality,
She slips back into the calm blue sea.
From a distance it's difficult to confirm or deny,
Whether what I've seen is real or a lie.

Some say it's easy to confuse their identity,
With a seal or a porpoise, small whale or manatee.
Many a tale of strange visions have been laid,
Of random encounters of men and mermaids.
