The Light

A beam of light,
Gone the night,
Alas another day.

Here we stand,
Hand in hand,
In God's majestic ray.

Clouds up high,
A moonless sky,
All wash the light away.

But love and faith,
God's eternal grace,
Will illuminate the way...
